Domaine Belleville Gevrey Chambertin rouge Creux Brouillard 2017 0,75l

Belleville Gevrey Chambertin rouge Creux Brouillard comes from an old Pinot Noir vineyard in the renowned Gevrey‑Chambertin appellation at the northern end of the Côte de Nuits. The clay‑limestone terroir lends both depth and finesse to the wine. The bouquet opens with dark cherries, blackberries and blueberries, followed by hints of violet, forest floor, smoke and spice. On the palate the Pinot Noir is juicy and precise, with fine‑grained tannins and lively acidity that provide freshness and length. Flavours of red and dark berries mingle with earthy notes, graphite and subtle oak. The finish is elegant, long and distinctly mineral. A classic Gevrey‑Chambertin that pairs beautifully with duck breast, boeuf bourguignon, delicate game birds or aged Comté cheese.

16 months of barrique ageing with 35% new oak gives the Pinot Noir depth, fine toasted notes, and elegant length.

Domaine Belleville

In Bourgogne (Burgundy), in the village of Rully, Domaine Belleville has been shaping its identity since the early 20th century. The estate’s vineyards stretch from the Côte Chalonnaise into select corners of the Côte d’Or, and the guiding idea is simple: let each plot stand on its own....

The grape variety: Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is a refined red grape known for red cherry, raspberry, floral notes, spice and silky tannins. It is most famous in Burgundy but thrives in many cool-climate regions.

It pairs beautifully with duck, roast chicken, mushrooms, salmon, pork and game birds. Its fascination lies in finesse, fragrance and the way it expresses origin. Pinot Noir
