Belleville Mercurey rouge Champ Roin comes from the “Champ Roin” climat in Mercurey, whose name derives from an old term for a small stream. The vines grow on limestone‑rich soils and produce a Pinot Noir that combines freshness with structure. The bouquet offers raspberries, sour cherries and blackcurrants, together with floral tones and a hint of roasted spice. On the palate the wine is medium to full‑bodied, juicy and precise, with fine tannins and well‑integrated acidity. Red and dark berry fruit, gentle herbal notes and subtle oak contribute to its complexity. The finish is lively, mineral and pleasantly long.
