Belleville Rully rouge 1er Cru Le Chapitre comes from a historic Premier Cru vineyard that once belonged to the chapter of canons of the cathedral of Chalon. On limestone‑rich soils, Pinot Noir here produces wines of particular elegance and finesse. The vintage shows a juicy aromatic profile with fresh cherry, raspberry and redcurrant, complemented by fine spice, a hint of smoke and discreet toasted oak. On the palate the wine is medium‑bodied, silky and precise, with very fine‑grained tannins and lively yet well‑integrated acidity. The fruit is pure and vibrant, while the spicy‑mineral dimension adds depth. The long finish is juicy and uplifting, highlighting the wine’s Burgundian elegance. A charming Rully 1er Cru, ideal with poultry, veal medallions, mushroom dishes or refined vegetable and pasta creations.
