Benanti Etna Bianco Etna DOC Bianco is the estate’s classic white and a benchmark introduction to the style of Etna’s white wines. The blend is based primarily on Carricante with small portions of other indigenous varieties from different sites around the volcano. On the nose it offers citrus notes, green apple, a touch of white peach and herbs, backed by a hint of smoke and sea salt. The palate is slender, fresh and linear, driven by lively acidity and clear volcanic minerality. The fruit profile is cool and precise, with no sense of heaviness or overripeness. The finish is medium to long, echoing citrus zest, salty nuances and a touch of almond. A highly versatile Etna Bianco that works beautifully as a food wine with fish, seafood, antipasti or light Mediterranean dishes.
