Bladnoch Single Malt matured in a combination of sherry and Moscatel casks showcases the distillery at its most complex and mature. The bouquet is layered with dried apricots, exotic fruit and floral notes, supported by nutmeg, almonds and a hint of citrus peel. On the palate the whisky is silky and deep, offering flavours of marzipan, ripe orange, dried fruit and a refined, natural sweetness. Gentle peppery accents and a fine acidity provide lift and tension. The finish is exceptionally long and graceful, weaving together fruity, floral and nutty elements.
