Glenfarclas 10 Year Old is a classic Oloroso‑sherry matured Speyside single malt and a benchmark introduction to the distillery. The nose shows sweet sherry, green apples, honey, vanilla, cereal notes and a hint of citrus. On the palate it is fruity and gently spicy, with flavours of dried fruits, malt, cinnamon, cloves and light toffee sweetness. Subtle oak and a whisper of smoke provide extra depth. The texture is smooth and well balanced, leading to a long, silky finish with fruit, spice and soft oak. A versatile whisky that works neat, with a splash of water or as an inviting first dram of the evening.
