Cantina Beato Bartolomeo da Breganze Spumante Extra Dry ROSA DI SERA Diamante 0,75l
Rosa di Sera is a playful yet seriously crafted sparkling rosé from the Diamante range of Cantina Beato Bartolomeo. It is produced from the local varieties Marzemina and Vespaiola, softly pressed and cool-fermented in stainless steel before undergoing secondary fermentation in tank. In the glass it shows a bright cherry-pink hue. The bouquet is intense, with aromas of cherry, red berries, almond and a delicate rose note. On the palate the wine is fresh and well balanced, with fine, persistent bubbles and a harmonious interplay of fruit and gentle savouriness. A subtle almond-like finish recalls traditional northern Italian rosé styles. Perfect as an aperitif or with fish, shellfish and light summer starters.
On the foothills of the Altopiano di Asiago, in the rolling Veneto hills, Cantina Beato Bartolomeo da Breganze has united growers around Breganze since 1950. Founded on Valentine’s Day by 121 winegrowers, the cooperative carries the name of Bartolomeo da Breganze, a local Dominican and Bishop of Vicenza—an explicit nod to place and community....
Marzemina produces fragrant, fruity red wines with cherry, red berries, violet, fine spice and usually soft tannin.
The variety pairs with pasta, pizza, polenta, mushrooms, antipasti, chicken and mild cheese. Marzemina is exciting because it combines northern Italian freshness with a charming, aromatic drinking flow.
