Jean-Marc Brocard Bourgogne Chardonnay Les Cepages 2024 0,75l

This Bourgogne Chardonnay from Jean‑Marc Brocard is sourced from limestone-rich sites close to Chablis and drinks very much like a baby Chablis. Cool conditions and the chalky subsoil shape a clean, mineral-driven style. The bouquet offers pear, green apple, citrus and white blossom with a discreet hint of light spice. On the palate the wine is taut and linear yet juicy, with medium body and precise, refreshing acidity. A fine chalky texture runs through to the finish, where citrus notes keep the flavours bright and mouth-watering. A highly versatile Chardonnay that works beautifully with fish, shellfish, poultry or soft cheeses.

Ageing in stainless steel keeps the Chardonnay precise, fresh, and clearly mineral-driven.

Jean-Marc Brocard

Near Chablis in Burgundy, Jean‑Marc Brocard started in 1973/74 with just 1.5 hectares in Préhy; the family estate has since become one of the region’s reference names. Its core asset is timeless: Chardonnay rooted in Kimmeridgian limestone packed with ancient marine fossils, expressed through a broad patchwork of sites, including holdings close to Premier and Grand Cru territory....

The grape variety: Chardonnay

Chardonnay is a globally renowned white grape from Burgundy, capable of crisp, mineral, creamy or oak-aged styles. Its flavours range from citrus and apple to peach, butter, nuts and toast.

It pairs with seafood, chicken, creamy pasta, mushrooms, lobster and soft cheeses. Chardonnay is exciting because it can be beautifully simple or profoundly complex. Chardonnay
