Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis Vieilles Vignes 2025 0,75l

Made from old Chardonnay vines rooted in classic Kimmeridgian limestone, this Chablis Vieilles Vignes offers remarkable depth and minerality. The cool climate around Chablis and the chalky soils shape a taut, saline style with plenty of freshness. On the nose, lemon, lime and green apple meet notes of white flowers, chalk and a touch of flint. The palate is linear, concentrated and juicy, driven by lively acidity and a fine, powdery texture. Fruit remains cool and citrus-led while a pronounced mineral core provides length and tension. The finish is long and salty, evoking wet stone and oyster shell. A characterful Chablis that pairs beautifully with oysters, seafood, grilled fish or simply crusty bread and goat’s cheese.

The grape variety: Chardonnay

Chardonnay is a globally renowned white grape from Burgundy, capable of crisp, mineral, creamy or oak-aged styles. Its flavours range from citrus and apple to peach, butter, nuts and toast.

It pairs with seafood, chicken, creamy pasta, mushrooms, lobster and soft cheeses. Chardonnay is exciting because it can be beautifully simple or profoundly complex. Chardonnay
