On the palate the wine is full-bodied and concentrated, with ripe, opulent fruit wrapped in long, fine tannins. Layers of chocolate, coffee and cedar reflect careful maturation in oak barrels. Acidity sits in the background, adding freshness and balance without dominating. The finish is long, spicy and slightly smoky.
