Castello Bonomi Franciacorta Brut Rosé is based mainly on Pinot Nero and captures the fruity, delicate style of rosé Franciacorta. The base wines are vinified in stainless steel before the secondary fermentation and ageing in bottle. The wine displays a vibrant pink colour with persistent bubbles. On the nose it offers wild strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant notes, complemented by citrus hints, rose petals and a touch of fresh bread crust. The palate is fresh, juicy and gently creamy, with well-balanced acidity and good length. It is ideal as an elegant aperitif and pairs beautifully with antipasti, sushi and refined fish or poultry dishes.

After the first fermentation in steel, the base wine matures for about 6 months; at least 24 months on the lees provide freshness and fine fruit.
