Château de Musset comes from Montagne-Saint-Émilion, a traditional satellite appellation on Bordeaux's Right Bank. The estate was acquired in the nineteenth century by Pierre Musset and has remained in the same family for almost a century and a half. This origin shows the Merlot-led, approachable side of the Libournais with confidence. In the glass, expect dark berries, plum, cherry, gentle spice and earthy depth. The structure is round, supple and carried by moderate, well-integrated tannins. The wine feels classic, honest and versatile.
