| Cheval des Andes Mendoza: The essence of true craftsmanship | |
| Cheval des Andes is a joint project between Terrazas de los Andes and Château Cheval Blanc and has become an icon among Andean blends. The grapes come from high-altitude vineyards in Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, where cool nights preserve tension and aromatics. The wine combines malbec with cabernet sauvignon and other Bordeaux varieties and is aged in French oak. Aromas of black cherry, blackberry and violets mingle with graphite, tobacco, cocoa and fine herbal spice. On the palate Cheval des Andes is silky, layered and powerful, with precise tannins and vibrant acidity. A long, spicy and mineral finish confirms it as a world-class Argentine red for fine cuts of beef, lamb, game and modern gastronomy. | |
