Rutini Single Vineyard Malbec comes from a high-altitude single plot in Gualtallary in the Uco Valley. Vines rooted in poor, limestone-rich soils yield highly concentrated fruit. After fermentation the wine is matured in French oak, developing a complex bouquet of black berries, plum and violet with refined toasted notes. On the palate the Malbec is full-bodied, silky and firmly structured, with ripe tannins and a distinct mineral core. Fresh acidity adds tension and underlines its impressive ageing capacity. A long, elegant finish makes this single-vineyard Malbec a superb choice for special occasions and fine red-meat dishes.

Part of the wine matures for 12 months in French oak, adding structure and a harmonious, mature expression.
