DiamAndes Grande Réserve Chardonnay 2020 0,75l

DiamAndes Grande Reserve Chardonnay comes from high-altitude vineyards in Campo Los Andes in the Uco Valley and is one of the estate’s flagship whites. A proportion of the must is fermented and aged in French oak while the rest remains in stainless steel, balancing complexity and freshness. The bouquet layers grapefruit zest, pear and ripe apple with light tropical fruit, vanilla, nuts and subtle oak spice. On the palate the chardonnay is creamy yet taut, with juicy fruit, salty minerality and precise acidity. Its refined texture and beautifully integrated wood character lend impressive depth and length. The long, mineral-driven finish makes this wine a superb match for refined fish dishes, shellfish, poultry and elegant vegetable or risotto creations.

Barrel fermentation and ageing in French oak give the Chardonnay fullness while preserving its fresh style.

The grape variety: Chardonnay

Chardonnay is a globally renowned white grape from Burgundy, capable of crisp, mineral, creamy or oak-aged styles. Its flavours range from citrus and apple to peach, butter, nuts and toast.

It pairs with seafood, chicken, creamy pasta, mushrooms, lobster and soft cheeses. Chardonnay is exciting because it can be beautifully simple or profoundly complex. Chardonnay
