DiamAndes Grande Réserve Malbec Cabernet 2019 0,75l

This Argentine blend brings together the velvety generosity of Malbec and the backbone of Cabernet Sauvignon in a polished, highly appealing style. Sourced from Campo Los Andes in the Uco Valley, it benefits from altitude that gives the wine lift, freshness and definition. Eighteen months in French oak, with part of the wine aged in new barrels, add depth, creamy texture and beautifully integrated spice. The bouquet combines ripe plum, blackberry, redcurrant, balsamic accents and hints of mountain herbs, creating a layered and expressive profile. On the palate it feels plush, silky and long, yet always balanced by lively acidity and refined tannins. It is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a serious Mendoza red with richness, elegance and unmistakable international finesse.

Eighteen months in French oak, partly new, give the Malbec-Cabernet depth, spice and a complex structure.

The grape variety: Malbec

Malbec, also called Côt in France, is known for deep colour, plum, blackberry, black cherry, violet and spicy notes. Styles range from smooth and fruit-driven to powerful and structured.

It pairs especially well with steak, grilled meats, lamb, braised dishes, mushrooms and mature cheese. Malbec is exciting because it shows both Argentine richness and the firmer, traditional character of Cahors. Malbec
