Rutini Trumpeter Cabernet Sauvignon captures the sunny character of Mendoza in the glass. The bouquet opens with dark berries, cassis and ripe cherry, lifted by hints of blackcurrant leaf, pepper and a touch of vanilla. On the palate the Cabernet is dense and juicy with good concentration and clearly defined fruit. Fine-grained tannins give structure while remaining supple and approachable. Well-judged acidity keeps the ripe flavours fresh and lively. A long, spicy finish with black fruit, subtle oak and herbs rounds off the wine. It is a great match for beef, lamb and flavourful barbecued dishes.

Ageing in French oak rounds out the dark fruit with fine vanilla, cocoa and oak spice.
