Conterno Fantino Barolo Ginestra Vigna del Gris docg 2021 0,75l
Barolo Ginestra Vigna del Gris is drawn from a prized parcel in the Ginestra cru of Monforte d'Alba, where nebbiolo grows on calcareous marls with layers of stone. The vines, many of them older, are farmed with great care and harvested by hand before a gentle vinification and maturation in oak. The bouquet is refined, combining rose petals, cherry and red berries with hints of clove, dried herbs and tea leaves. On the palate Vigna del Gris is full-bodied yet poised, offering fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity. Its long, floral and mineral finish confirms its status as an elegant but powerful Barolo for braised dishes, game birds and mushroom-based cuisine. It lingers on the palate with real persistence.
