Barbaresco Reyna by Michele Chiarlo comes from sandy, limestone‑rich slopes around the village of Barbaresco and is made entirely from Nebbiolo. The bouquet shows small red berries, rose petals and a hint of tea leaf, lifted by gentle sweet spice. On the palate the wine is silky and finely etched, with precise cherry fruit and a savoury, mineral edge. Very fine tannins give an aristocratic but approachable structure. Lively acidity keeps the finish bright and long. This elegant Barbaresco is a refined partner for braised meats, game birds, truffle dishes or aged cheeses.
Ageing in medium and large casks supports the elegant, complex Nebbiolo aromatics.
