Chardonnay vines rooted in fossil-rich Kimmeridgian limestone are carefully hand harvested. The bouquet is delicate yet incisive, with candied lemon, lime and green apple alongside chalk, seashells and subtle herbal notes. On the palate Valmur is elegant, compact and linear, offering complex citrus flavours and bright, mouth-watering acidity. The texture is fine and taut, while the mineral depth grows with each sip. A long, chalky, citrus-driven finish makes this grand cru a perfect partner for oysters, seafood and simply prepared fish.
