Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières from Domaine Pernot‑Belicard is renowned for its precision and mineral drive. Chardonnay vines grow on poor, stony soils that naturally limit yields and concentrate flavour. The nose offers white flowers, citrus, pear and stone fruit, layered with hints of toasted nuts and subtle oak. On the palate the wine is dense yet taut, combining creamy texture with vibrant acidity and a distinctly saline minerality. Careful barrel ageing adds depth and length while preserving the purity of the fruit. This Meursault is a superb partner for fine fish dishes, shellfish, veal and poultry in rich sauces, and it has excellent potential to develop further complexity in bottle.
