Don Papa Sherry Cask begins its life in ex-bourbon American oak before being finished in four different sherry casks, including Palo Cortado, Fino, Cream and Pedro Ximénez. The result is a deeply coloured rum with a dry, almost nutty nose and a rich, fruit-driven palate. Aromas of candied tropical fruit, plums, raisins, dark chocolate and oak lead into flavours of sweet plum, cocoa, dates and dark berries. A silky texture and caramel notes carry through to a smooth, fruity finish. This is a decadent sipping rum for sherry and whisky lovers alike. Best enjoyed slowly in a wide glass to let the sherry complexity unfold.
