| El Coto de Imaz Reserva Selección Viñedos is crafted from the estate’s finest Tempranillo parcels in Rioja Alavesa and the high-altitude Finca Los Almendros. Extended ageing in oak and bottle results in a complex, layered Rioja. The bouquet delivers ripe red and dark fruit, plum and cherry, together with vanilla, cocoa, toasted notes and subtle spice. On the palate it is full-bodied and silky yet firmly structured, with ripe tannins, fresh acidity and a long, savoury, spice-tinged finish. A classic, age-worthy Reserva that pairs beautifully with roast meats, game and mature cheeses. It can comfortably evolve in bottle for many years while gaining further complexity. | |
