Coto Real Reserva is a powerful yet refined Rioja made from old-vine Tempranillo grown in selected plots of Rioja Alta. The wine spends an extended period in carefully chosen oak barrels and is further matured in bottle before release. The bouquet reveals dark cherry, blackberry and plum, wrapped in notes of mocha, coffee, tobacco and warm spice. On the palate it is dense and silky with ripe, polished tannins and impressive length. This is a modern, complex Reserva that shines alongside roast lamb, beef and slow-cooked dishes. It represents the more ambitious, cellar-worthy face of El Coto and rewards unhurried drinking.

At least 24 months in American and French oak followed by bottle ageing combine ripe fruit with vanilla, spice and fine toasted notes.
