Weingut Elsnegg Gelber Traminer 2022 0,75l

Elsnegg’s Gelber Traminer grows on steep, sun-exposed slopes around Eckberg in South Styria and shows the variety in a generous yet finely structured style. The bouquet is highly perfumed, with rose petals, lychee, candied orange peel, honey and hints of exotic fruit and gentle spice. On the palate the wine is dense and juicy, carried by a touch of residual sweetness and flavours of ripe stone fruit. Fresh acidity and a subtle mineral backbone keep it balanced and elegant. A distinctive white that pairs beautifully with aromatic Asian cuisine, spicy starters and washed-rind cheeses. Served slightly chilled, it also makes a wonderful contemplative glass on its own.
