Discover the Character of Château Haut-Bailly Pessac-Léognan Rouge
Château Haut-Bailly is a Graves Classified Growth at the heart of Pessac-Léognan, built around a single 30-hectare vineyard. The vines are rooted in gravel, sand and sandstone over limestone rich in fossilised marine sediments, a terroir that gives both depth and freshness. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot form the core of the blend, with Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc in support. The bouquet reveals red and black berries, cassis and cherry with notes of tobacco, cedar and graphite. On the palate Haut-Bailly combines intensity with great finesse, offering silky tannins, cool, lively acidity and a long, beautifully poised finish.
