Aromas of citrus, green apple, ripe peach and tropical fruit are joined by floral hints, roasted nuts and a discreet smokiness from barrel ageing. On the palate the wine is creamy and layered, yet driven by lively acidity and a saline mineral edge. The long, vibrant finish makes it an ideal match for fine fish, seafood, poultry and refined vegetable dishes. Served slightly cool in large glasses, it reveals even more nuance and ageing potential. | |
