Château Smith Haut Lafitte Rouge is a Grand Cru Classé de Graves in Pessac-Léognan, renowned for its modern yet refined style. Sustainably and partly biodynamically farmed vineyards are planted mainly with cabernet sauvignon along with merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot. The nose offers blackcurrant, blackberry and cherry, layered with licorice, graphite, smoke, cedar and subtle spice. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, silky and deep, with concentrated fruit, ripe tannins and vibrant acidity.
