The grapes come from a south facing site with clay and limestone soils that favour ripe, fragrant fruit. The bouquet shows red cherry, wild strawberry and fresh flowers backed by a hint of spice. On the palate the wine is smooth, balanced and highly drinkable, with very fine, gentle tannins. Bright but unobtrusive acidity gives lift and clarity to the fruit.
