Espectacle del Montsant is a formidable old-vine Garnacha from an amphitheatre-shaped single vineyard in the heart of Montsant. The bouquet is intensely expressive, showing layers of red fruits such as raspberry and redcurrant alongside citrus zest, spice, truffle and delicate floral notes. On the palate the wine is powerful, silky and highly concentrated, yet lifted by refreshing acidity and a marked mineral elegance. Its great density and very long, flavour-packed finish make Espectacle a truly grand Mediterranean red for special occasions, pairing beautifully with braised meat, game dishes or mature cheeses.
Ageing in large French oak casks concentrates the old Grenache fruit and gives the wine depth and complexity.
