Echezeaux En Orveaux Grand Cru from Domaine Faiveley comes from a cool, high-lying sector of this famous vineyard. The bouquet is expressive, with dark berries, black cherry and a touch of strawberry framed by exotic spices, incense, peonies and orange zest. On the palate the Pinot Noir is full-bodied, broad and enveloping, with a rich core of fruit and very fine, silky tannins. Lively acidity and a subtle saline edge on the finish add freshness and lift. The long, complex aftertaste underlines its excellent aging potential. A striking grand cru to serve with braised veal, pigeon, game dishes or mature cheeses.

Maturation in French oak with a high proportion of new oak highlights the fruit-driven, silky structure and adds length.
