Faiveley Givry Champ Lalot rouge 2023 0,75l

Givry Champ Lalot rouge from Domaine Faiveley is an elegant Pinot Noir from the Côte Chalonnaise. The grapes come from a south facing site with clay and limestone soils that favour ripe, fragrant fruit. The bouquet shows red cherry, wild strawberry and fresh flowers backed by a hint of spice. On the palate the wine is smooth, balanced and highly drinkable, with very fine, gentle tannins. Bright but unobtrusive acidity gives lift and clarity to the fruit. Discreet oak notes add dimension without dominating. A refined food wine that pairs beautifully with poultry, veal, pasta dishes or relaxed bistro style cuisine.

Twelve months in French oak adds gentle structure without masking the fresh, fruit-driven character.

The grape variety: Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is a refined red grape known for red cherry, raspberry, floral notes, spice and silky tannins. It is most famous in Burgundy but thrives in many cool-climate regions.

It pairs beautifully with duck, roast chicken, mushrooms, salmon, pork and game birds. Its fascination lies in finesse, fragrance and the way it expresses origin. Pinot Noir
