Faiveley Ladoix blanc Les Marnes blanches 2024 0,75l
Ladoix blanc Les Marnes blanches from Domaine Faiveley is a multi layered Chardonnay from vineyards below the Corton hill. Pale marls in the soil endow the wine with freshness and a distinctive mineral character. The nose offers pear, yellow apple and citrus zest alongside a hint of brioche. A fine, saline edge brings precision and length and invites another sip. This expressive white Burgundy is ideal with fish, shellfish, poultry or creamy risottos.
Ageing in French oak gives the wine structure, freshness and calm depth.

The grape variety: Chardonnay
Chardonnay is a globally renowned white grape from Burgundy, capable of crisp, mineral, creamy or oak-aged styles. Its flavours range from citrus and apple to peach, butter, nuts and toast.
It pairs with seafood, chicken, creamy pasta, mushrooms, lobster and soft cheeses. Chardonnay is exciting because it can be beautifully simple or profoundly complex.
