Faiveley Mercurey blanc Le Vallon 2023 0,75l

Mercurey Blanc Le Vallon from Domaine Faiveley is a lively yet creamy Chardonnay from south‑facing clay‑limestone slopes. The bouquet shows white flowers, citrus, green apple and white peach, lifted by a hint of toasted almond. On the palate the wine is juicy, medium‑bodied and beautifully balanced, with bright acidity and a fine chalky minerality. Subtle oak ageing adds texture and depth without masking the wine’s refreshing character. A long, pure, fruit‑driven finish makes Le Vallon an excellent choice with fish, seafood, poultry or vegetarian dishes in creamy sauces.

Sixteen months of ageing in French oak and stainless steel preserves freshness and gives the Chardonnay harmonious structure.

The grape variety: Chardonnay

Chardonnay is a globally renowned white grape from Burgundy, capable of crisp, mineral, creamy or oak-aged styles. Its flavours range from citrus and apple to peach, butter, nuts and toast.

It pairs with seafood, chicken, creamy pasta, mushrooms, lobster and soft cheeses. Chardonnay is exciting because it can be beautifully simple or profoundly complex. Chardonnay
