Mercurey Blanc Clos Rochette from Domaine Faiveley comes from a rare Chardonnay monopole on the slopes above the village. The expressive bouquet combines citrus, white flowers and ripe apple with gentle spice and subtle toasted notes. On the palate the wine opens with freshness and tension before broadening into a creamy, generous texture, supported by well‑judged oak. Lively acidity and a marked mineral character provide length and definition. This elegant, layered white is a superb match for seafood, fine fish, poultry or delicately spiced vegetarian dishes.
