Faiveley Beaune 1c.Rouge Clos de L'Écu 2024 0,75l

Beaune Premier Cru Clos de l’Ecu Monopole from Domaine Faiveley is a pure Pinot Noir sourced from a historic single vineyard overlooking the town of Beaune. Its deep ruby colour introduces an expressive bouquet of red and black berries, with notes of cherry, blackberry and a hint of orange peel. On the palate the wine is lively and juicy, showing a velvety texture, ripe tannins and refreshing acidity. Spicy nuances and a touch of mint add lift and complexity. The finish is long, elegant and driven by precisely defined fruit. A characterful yet accessible Premier Cru that pairs beautifully with poultry, veal, lamb chops or delicately prepared vegetable dishes.

Ageing in French oak gives the wine structure, calm and an elegant, finely spiced character.

Faiveley

The grape variety: Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is a refined red grape known for red cherry, raspberry, floral notes, spice and silky tannins. It is most famous in Burgundy but thrives in many cool-climate regions.

It pairs beautifully with duck, roast chicken, mushrooms, salmon, pork and game birds. Its fascination lies in finesse, fragrance and the way it expresses origin. Pinot Noir
