The bouquet combines red and dark berries, cherry and plum with hints of violet, liquorice, smoke and refined toasted notes. On the palate the wine is powerful, layered and silky, supported by precise acidity and very ripe, fine‑grained tannins. The finish is exceptionally long, carried by spice, minerality and intense fruit. A great Grand Cru for special occasions, ideal with braised beef, game dishes or mature cheeses. | |
