Gernot Heinrich’s Pinot Noir is sourced from organically farmed vineyards around Lake Neusiedl on limestone sites and gravelly, sandy soils. The nose reveals raspberry, wild strawberry, plum and meadow herbs, lifted by a touch of orange zest. On the palate the wine is juicy, fine-boned and silky, with very delicate tannins and refreshing acidity. Maturation in wooden fermenters adds structure while keeping the fruit light and pure. A versatile red that also shines slightly chilled in warmer months and pairs well with poultry, veal or vegetable cuisine.

The Pinot Noir matures in large oak casks and shows clear red-berry fruit with lively freshness.
