Gritsch Riesling Kalkofen 2025 0,75l

Kalkofen sits in the cool Spitzer Graben near Viessling and is one of the Wachau's most distinctive steep terraces. Its south to south-east facing slopes are rooted in granodiorite gneiss and amphibolite. FJ Gritsch harvests the Riesling by hand, ferments it at controlled temperature and ages it on fine lees before maturation in large oak. The style is dry, taut and strongly mineral. Salinity, crushed stone, cool spice and red nectarine shape the aromatic profile. With air it gains depth and harmony while retaining its firm, precise line. It is an excellent partner for fish, white meat and Mediterranean dishes.
