Madeira Malvasia Sweet from Justino s represents the most opulent, dessert like style of the house. In the glass it shows a deep mahogany hue with golden highlights. The bouquet evokes toffee, caramel, raisins, dried figs and candied orange peel alongside roasted nuts. On the palate the Malvasia is lush, creamy and highly concentrated, with intense sweetness balanced by persistent acidity. Layers of coffee, cocoa and baking spice add further complexity. The finish is remarkably long, warming and complex. A classic Malmsey Madeira for rich desserts, chocolate torte, creme desserts or slow sipping by itself.
Long oak-barrel ageing shapes the sweet Malvasia with mature, caramelised depth and a complex finish.
