Kyrö Dark Gin is a barrel-aged Finnish rye gin that marries the spice of 100 % rye with local botanicals and American oak. After maturation in small casks it shows a warm golden hue and aromas of orange, vanilla, honey, herbs and meadow flowers. On the palate juniper and rye lead the way, joined by caramel, clove, ginger and gentle oak. The texture recalls a soft whisky while clearly remaining a bold, characterful gin. A long, peppery finish invites you to sip it neat, over ice or in cocktails with cloudy apple juice, cinnamon and vanilla.
