La Quinta Essencia dels Llops
When Priorat’s llicorella slate and wild herbs breathe out their heat, La Quinta Essència dels Llops turns wine culture into a distilled idea. Behind the name stands the Barbier family of Clos Mogador—pioneers who carried their curiosity from vineyard work into copper. The spirit is made from wine and often from lees: the fine yeast sediments that hold remarkable density after fermentation. In collaboration with the Catalan distillery Brisfere, the distillate is drawn slowly in a copper still, with precise cuts, until a totally dry, colourless aguardiente emerges—focused, structured and unapologetically pure.
It invites new rituals: neat as a digestif, ice-cold as an aperitif, or as a restrained base for modern cocktails where bitters and citrus can shine. A Priorat signature in spirit form—rare, singular and made for those who value craftsmanship over volume.
