La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Rouge blends white wines with red Pineau des Charentes and 28 carefully selected herbs and spices. The bouquet is intense and generous, with ripe grape, vanilla, caramel, dried fruit and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is rich, velvety and lightly sweet, supported by notes of sweet spice, cocoa and a touch of bitter orange. Despite its generosity, the vermouth keeps good balance and a pleasantly lingering finish. Enjoy it neat over ice, in Negroni-style drinks or as a characterful substitute for sweet vermouth in whisky cocktails. In classic aperitif cocktails it adds depth and a luxurious balance of sweetness and bitterness.
