Clarendelle Bordeaux Rouge, created by Domaine Clarence Dillon, is a wine that favours balance and elegance over sheer power. The blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc is sourced from selected Bordeaux vineyards and partly matured in oak barrels. On the nose it offers red and dark berry fruit, ripe plum and a touch of violet, framed by subtle toast and fine spice. The palate is medium-bodied, silky and harmonious, with well-judged tannins and fresh acidity. Its poised, lingering finish makes Clarendelle Bordeaux Rouge an excellent choice with entrecôte, lamb dishes, pasta with ragout and contemporary everyday cuisine.
