Labruyere Prieur Selection Chassagne Montrachet rouge 1c. Morgeot 2023 0,75l

Labruyere Prieur Selection Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot Rouge is a Pinot Noir from the Côte de Beaune that shows the muscular yet elegant side of Chassagne. Vines on clay-limestone soils in the premier cru Morgeot produce a wine with red and dark berry aromas, cherry, violet, forest floor and subtle toast. The palate is structured, juicy and silky, with ripe tannins and fresh acidity. A precise mineral edge adds depth and length. This is a serious red Burgundy to enjoy with duck breast, poultry in mushroom sauces or roasted lamb chops. A short decant and serving just below room temperature show it at its best.

The grape variety: Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is a refined red grape known for red cherry, raspberry, floral notes, spice and silky tannins. It is most famous in Burgundy but thrives in many cool-climate regions.

It pairs beautifully with duck, roast chicken, mushrooms, salmon, pork and game birds. Its fascination lies in finesse, fragrance and the way it expresses origin. Pinot Noir
