Leonista Blanco is a South African agave spirit from the Karoo, crafted in a traditional Mexican-inspired style similar to mezcal. It is made from 100% organically certified agave that ripens slowly in the semi-desert and is roasted and distilled with great care. The nose shows cooked agave, fresh cucumber, green vegetal notes, aubergine, citrus and a gentle smokiness. On the palate it is smooth and slightly oily, combining mild sweet agave flavours with dark chocolate nuances and refreshing herbal tones. A delicate, smoky finish invites another sip. Enjoy it neat, in Margarita-style cocktails or wherever you would normally reach for mezcal or tequila.
