Anniversario Grappa di Moscato Vendemmia Tardiva celebrates the craftsmanship of Distilleria Marolo with a particularly refined interpretation of Moscato pomace. Late-harvested grapes from selected sites in Piedmont are gently distilled and then matured for many years in small oak barrels. This extended ageing brings a bright amber hue and complex aromas of candied citrus, dried apricot, honey and almond. On the palate the grappa is silky and warming, combining notes of vanilla, sweet spice and fine oak without ever feeling heavy. The texture is dense yet elegant, perfectly balanced and carried by a very long, harmonious finish. A contemplative after-dinner spirit that also pairs beautifully with aged hard cheese, roasted nuts or delicate almond pastries.
