Moric NR3 Balaton HT is produced in collaboration with Villa Tolnay from vineyards above the northern shores of Lake Balaton. It shows a pale green-tinged colour and a fragrant nose of pear, ripe melon and vineyard peach, wrapped in aromatic herbs and a hint of juniper. On the palate the wine is fresh, feather-light and yet surprisingly concentrated, with citrus, quince and a fine mineral streak. Juicy acidity makes it highly drinkable and emphasises the cool, linear style. The finish is long, herbal and slightly salty, echoing stone fruit and citrus zest. A vibrant, characterful Balaton white to enjoy with seafood, grilled vegetables and Mediterranean-style starters.

Ageing in used Hungarian oak casks gives this Riesling-Furmint cuvée a clear, mineral and unfiltered character.
