La Propiedad from Palacios Remondo is sourced from old-vine Garnacha rooted in poor schist and limestone soils above Alfaro. The bouquet is layered and expressive, showing ripe cherry, rosehip and cranberry alongside notes of violet, anise, gentle smoke and wild Mediterranean herbs. On the palate the wine is concentrated yet remarkably fresh, with a silk-like texture, fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity. A distinct mineral edge adds focus and length. Ageing in large oak casks brings subtle spice and structure without masking the purity of the fruit. The persistent, elegant finish makes La Propiedad a characterful Rioja to enjoy with roast lamb, game birds, mushroom dishes or refined vegetable cuisine.
