Penfolds Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz is a benchmark warm-climate Shiraz, drawing fruit from selected South Australian vineyards. The bouquet is generous, with aromas of blackberry, dark plum and baked black cherry layered with mocha, dark chocolate, liquorice and cracked black pepper. On the palate the wine is full-bodied and lush, showing ripe, opulent fruit framed by ripe, velvety tannins. Hints of spice, toasted oak and vanilla add depth. The texture is dense yet smooth, leading into a long, flavour-packed finish. Bin 28 is ideal with grilled steak, lamb, hearty stews or barbecue dishes.
